The name Da-On derives from a pure Korean word meaning, \u201cAll good things are\u00a0coming.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Da-On Dance has performed at several venues in New York City, Korea, and Singapore.\u00a0\u00a0Song-Begin often creates work in collaboration with composer Jerome Begin, and presents her work with live original music. I choose to explore these ideas through the medium of the human body. I am interested in constantly changing the take-off point, varying the moment of inception for the creation of a new work: beginning from the conceptual, the kinetic, the musical, the visual, the spatial. Where can I start that will lead me to movement? When I choreograph, it is to relay a message, though not necessarily a specific message.
